1. What these terms cover
These Terms of Payment explain how paid Kordmate plans are priced, billed, renewed and cancelled. They sit alongside our Terms of Use. By purchasing a paid plan you also agree to those Terms. Questions can be sent through the Contact page or to support@kordmate.com.
2. Plans and prices
Kordmate has three plans. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page before you are asked to pay, in US dollars.
- Standard is currently free of charge during the beta. It does not include a commercial license (see section 9 of the Terms of Use).
- Business is a paid subscription of $312 per year (presented as $26 per month, billed annually). It is purchased on the Pricing page through Stripe Checkout.
- Business+ is priced separately for companies and organizations. It is not purchased through Stripe Checkout — use the Contact page or email support@kordmate.com and we will arrange it with you.
3. How you pay
You must be logged in to your Kordmate account to purchase Business. Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure checkout pages — we never see or store your card details.
Your Business access starts when Stripe confirms the payment. The price is shown clearly on the Pricing page and again on Stripe Checkout before you pay. Tax, currency conversion and Stripe's own payment terms are covered in section 4.
4. Taxes, currency and Stripe's terms
List prices on the Pricing page are in US dollars. The amount you agree to pay is what Stripe Checkout shows you before you confirm.
Payment is processed by Stripe. VAT, sales tax, GST or similar amounts — if Stripe calculates or displays any — any currency conversion or exchange rate Stripe applies if you pay in another currency, and which payment methods appear, are set and run by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and policies, not by these Terms of Payment. Stripe also shows its own terms on Checkout and in the customer portal.
Stripe's published terms are on stripe.com/legal, including the Stripe Privacy Policy and the Stripe Consumer Terms (which cover Stripe's own consumer services such as Link, if offered at checkout).
If your bank or card account is not in US dollars, your bank or card issuer may still convert the charge and add its own fees. Those rates and fees are between you and your bank — Kordmate does not set them.
5. Renewal and cancellation
A Business subscription renews automatically at the end of each yearly period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via Manage billing on the Account page — that opens Stripe's customer portal, where you can also update your payment method.
After you cancel, your Business access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken. Remaining paid time is not refunded if you cancel mid-period (see section 7).
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries the charge. Your Business access can continue while those retries are in progress. If the subscription is then cancelled or marked unpaid, Business access ends and your account reverts to the Standard plan.
If there is a problem with a payment, update your payment method via Manage billing on the Account page, or use the Contact page or email support@kordmate.com.
7. Refunds
Remaining paid time is not refunded if you cancel mid-period. If you delete your account while a Business or Business+ subscription is active, the subscription is cancelled immediately and any remaining paid time is not refunded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory Swedish or EU consumer protection law. If you use Kordmate as a consumer, these terms do not restrict your statutory rights.
8. Invoices
Invoices and receipts for Business payments are available through Manage billing on the Account page, on Stripe's own pages.
9. Changes to prices
We may change plan prices. You will be charged the price you agreed for the period you have already paid. A new price applies only when you next subscribe or renew, and is shown on the Pricing page, at checkout or in the billing portal before you are charged.
